I trained and worked as a medical illustrator in publishing and a large London teaching hospital before moving to Herefordshire.
Since then I have experimented with glass as a surface for drawing and design, using various methods from painting to sandblasting. I now attempt to combine all these techniques, and the acquisition of a diamond point drill has enabled me to achieve the kind of detail necessary in my designs.
I am inspired by the nature all around my studio in rural herefordshire, and by the natural world further afield. I have also begun to produce commemorative and presentation pieces with deep cut sandblasted lettering to mark special occasions or achievements.
