The following photographs were taken locally, from Hay-on-wye to Knighton, following the border between England and Wales. These local borderlands are also known as the Welsh Marches.

In Hay, the border runs through the town itself, briefly follows the River Wye, then travels north through Rhydspence up to Huntington. From there it winds through to Presteigne and Knighton, occasionally criss-crossing the old boundry of Offa's Dyke, until reaching the River Dee and the sea past Chester. Using the border as my route, I have tried to convey some of my impressions of the countryside and the changing seasons. I would also like to have maybe captured something of the remarkable in what is often seen as commonplace.

All the photographs were taken on a medium format Bronica SQ using Fujifilm.

They are all available for sale. Please email me for further details
